Academic Councils

GNIC® Academic Councils consist of recognised university professors, researchers and other subject-matter experts with extensive academic and professional expertise in their respective disciplines.

Each Academic Council is responsible for the independent development, review and maintenance of the normative references that form the foundation of GNIC reference frameworks, competence frameworks, assessment methodologies and certification programmes.

Drawing upon internationally recognised standards, scientific research and professional practice, the Academic Councils ensure that GNIC reference frameworks remain relevant, well-founded and academically robust.

By safeguarding the quality, integrity and independence of these normative references, the Academic Councils contribute to building confidence in professional competence through independent development, validation and recognition.
